Amarillo Crime Stoppers &
Student Crime Stoppers are
non-profit organizations that are operated by
separate citizen's Board of Directors. The coordinators
run the day-to-day operations.
Amarillo Crime Stoppers and Student Crime
Stoppers take anonymous tips
on unsolved crimes and the location of wanted
fugitives. If the information leads to an
arrest we pay a cash reward of up to $1000.
Monies for these programs is earned through fund
raising, private donations, and court ordered
probation fees. We do not receive money from the
Amarillo Police Department budget or from
the City of Amarillo. We guarantee
that the caller remains anonymous. Once the
information is given the caller receives a code name
that is used to monitor the case progress.
